Petition Action

Reconsider the cancellation of exams for 2021

Petition Details

To reconsider the cancellation of all GCSE and a level examinations in 2021 and refer to teacher assessed grades.
Current year 11 and 13’s have experienced 3 types of lockdowns throughout there education towards there exams. Online learning for students is difficult.

Additional Information

It wouldn’t be fair to test children and young adults that haven’t all been able to all access the same resources.
Throughout this pandemic many children have lost loved ones undoubtedly impacting there ability to study for exams. This isn’t fair to assess these students against the ones that haven’t struggled as much as others. Students that are ECV and there household has meant extreme mental health struggles as students are worried about bringing Covid back to the households
