Petition Action

Make face masks compulsory for secondary pupils and school staff in classrooms

Petition Details

The WHO make it clear that face coverings should be worn where social distancing of 2 metres cannot be ensured.

Additional Information

There is strong evidence that face coverings can reduce the transmission of the virus to others. There is NO evidence for the Government's position that masks should be avoided because they may interfere with communication and learning.

Make face coverings compulsory for secondary pupils in class and communal areas immediately.
