Petition Action

make GCSE and Alevel exams optional for 2021, let students choose what fits them

Petition Details

I think children of 2021 gcse and Alevel should be able To decide wether to sit an exam or get a CAG grade, as many had different experiences of lockdown, and many are not behind on work at all, and a CAG rating would heavily downgrade them, every student is different! Let us decide our future

Additional Information

Because it’s not fair to assume every student is the same, I think every child should get a CAG grade in may time, then let that child decide wether they are happy with this and if not they can sit the exam as they would, not everyone is behind and not everyone wants them cancelled, this method would let kids learn to decide their future, and make everyone happy, it provides for everyone in the simplest form, and results would be evened out with a 50/50 exam to CAG, I’m fighting for my future
