Petition Action

Boris Johnson to resign as PM when official Covid 19 death toll reaches 100,000

Petition Details

I want Parliament to vote for the Prime Minister to be replaced by a leader capable of a) managing the Covid 19 pandemic far more consequentially, and b) taking into account far more assiduously the evidence provided by Sage. The risk to life posed by Covid 19 to be the highest priority.

Additional Information

China put life first and liberty second. we have put liberty (and economy) first, and life second. But the Chinese economy recovered quickly and has done well. A very serious pandemic was brought under control. More than months later, everyone in Britain is suffering, and far too many are grieving. New Zealand, islands like Britain, cut itself off and kept deaths to 25 in total; China had nearly 4,800 deaths (20.44 per million). Britain has over 75,000 deaths(1,120 per million). It must change

This petition was rejected

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

We can't publish petitions about honours or appointments. That includes calling for Ministers to be sacked or to resign.

If you're concerned about a particular policy or decision that's the responsibility of Government or the House of Commons, you could sign or start a petition about that.
