Allow parents to Home school on a temporary basis keeping the child's place open
Allow parents the choice to Home school on a temporary basis in relation to COVID-19. Create a specific flexischooling absence code (so as to not affect the schools attendance records) While keeping the child’s school place open.
By creating a COVID-19 specific flexischooling absence code (so as to not affect the schools attendance records) to give guardians and parents who want to home school due to the current crisis, a quick and simple legal option to home school for an agreed temporary time (up to 1 year) whilst keeping the child’s place open , in order to reduce transmission rates , protect the vulnerable and save lives.
