Stop University exams going ahead in 2021
Stop university students having to sit exams when university’s have been closed and remote learning is not an adequate substitute.
University students have been neglected throughout this entire pandemic. Not only have they been made to pay full tuition fees for remote learning, but they are now forced to sit exams through these unfair circumstances. Many students have been impacted first hand by this virus and very little support has been provided by universities let alone the government. Cancelling exams will take unnecessary pressure off students in these difficult times.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Decisions about university teaching, assessments and exams are a matter for individual universities, not the UK Government or Parliament.
If you have concerns about your university's arrangements for teaching and assessment you should raise these with your university or the Office for Students, which regulates the higher education sector.
We understand that the current situation is stressful for many people, including students. Student Minds, a mental health charity for students, is collating guidance and developing resources to support students experiencing stress as a result of the current situation, which you may find useful: www.studentminds.org.uk/coronavirus.html
