Add 10% to University Grades this Academic Year.
University students across the country are pleading for the UK Government to step up and help university students by setting a standard - ensure universities add 10% to any grade achieved this academic year.
While schools are closed and exams are cancelled, uni students are left to carry on with no support or leniency. We urge the Government, ensure universities add 10% onto any grade achieved this academic year. Campuses are closed. Students have moved home. Teaching is via a webcam. Universities still want £9,250 per year. If it is unfair for school pupils to sit exams, university students deserve leniency. We are not asking for cancellation, just consideration.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Decisions about university teaching, assessments and exams are a matter for individual universities, not the UK Government or Parliament.
If you have concerns about your university's arrangements for teaching and assessment you should raise these with your university or the Office for Students, which regulates the higher education sector.
We understand that the current situation is stressful for many people, including students. Student Minds, a mental health charity for students, is collating guidance and developing resources to support students experiencing stress as a result of the current situation, which you may find useful: www.studentminds.org.uk/coronavirus.html
