Extend University Exam Deadlines During the National Lockdown
Give university students extensions on their exam deadlines - seeing as you have cancelled Alevels and GCSEs, isn’t it fair we get something similar seeing as we are paying out of our own pocket
Many students are already under great stress and their mental health is rapidly declining, stuck in small rooms often without light, or some stuck at home without the correct resources to complete exams. Creatives are asked to perform over zoom, and placements have been cancelled. This isn’t fair. We want extensions to make our exams worthwhile and to perform to the best of our ability for our moneys worth

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Decisions about university teaching, assessments and exams are a matter for individual universities, not the UK Government or Parliament.
If you have concerns about your university's arrangements for teaching and assessment you should raise these with your university or the Office for Students, which regulates the higher education sector.
We understand that the current situation is stressful for many people, including students. Student Minds, a mental health charity for students, is collating guidance and developing resources to support students experiencing stress as a result of the current situation, which you may find useful: www.studentminds.org.uk/coronavirus.html
