Nurseries to only be opened for children of key workers and vulnerable children
Currently, all childcare settings, e.g. nurseries are remaining open to all children whilst schools are being shut.
This is only going to end in disaster. Lots of these children will be attending nursery’s when they don’t need to be, putting staff and their families at risk as well as the children we look after and their families.
Childcare should only be open to children of key workers and Vulnerable children.
This will also allow nurseries to furlough some staff giving them a bit of financial respite as like most businesses, they are struggling.
