Make hand carwashes essential business during lockdown
The Parliament and the Government should consider allowing hand car washes to be open during lockdown.
The services provided by automatic carwashes don't deliver the same level of cleanliness inside and out as hand carwashes do. A number of people such as essential workers, elderly people etc. use the services of taxi companies to go to and from work daily, to do their shopping or for various other reasons. Food delivery services which also operate during lockdown and use vehicles that require thorough cleaning on a weekly if not daily basis.
