Remove children under 12 from the 1 to 1 exercise rule in England

Petition Details

During lockdown, we should be able to take our child for a walk with another child that we know. Current rules only allow park visits which are going to be crowded with children we don't know. Scotland exclude children under 12 from numbers, we should do the same. Children NEED to see each other.

Additional Information

During the rule of 6, children counted as part of the numbers, but at least they were at school so were interacting with other children.

If you have an only child, with no children in your support bubble, it is currently illegal for a child to see another child outside their own household unless they are in a bubble.

If children were excluded, 2 adults could meet for a walk and the children of those adults can also meet.
