Work internationally to make solar energy the primary energy source

We believe Climate Change is greatest threat to humanity. An April 2020 Opinion Poll reported 48% of respondents wanted a radical urgent response to it.

The UK Government should work with the Commonwealth and members of APEC to make solar energy the world’s primary energy source.

Additional Information

• The Sun provides 10,000 times more energy than world uses, and is one of the cleanest & most reliable energy sources.
• 43,000 sq miles of solar panels could supply all of the world’s current energy needs.
• Solar panels installed over 3 main areas of Australia/USA/Africa could replace 85% of all fossil fuels by 2030
• We call on the Government to start this urgent action in a joint project with the 18 major CHOGM/APEC members.
