Update the government financial help schemes to incorporate newly self employed

Petition Details

The current measures set out to help businesses and those affected by coronavirus do not help in any way to support new business or those who have recently gone self employed. The bounce back loan schemes also don’t help. This is something that needs to be changed

Additional Information

With these restrictions having gone on for so long now a lot of people have gone self employed after losing jobs or thinking it would be okay to start when restrictions were eased however after nearly a year the threshold for new applications to grants has not been changed to incorporate the new need from millions of people
