Hold A-levels & GCSEs in 2021 to promote learning and opportunity for students
Pupils learn for a reason. Exams encourage and prove this learning. Cancelling exams disproportionately affects young people, who've already paid a high price to protect society. It is demotivating and increases unfairness between pupils. Exams can and must be run safely this summer.
The pandemic has restricted opportunities for most, and necessarily so. But cancelling exams won't improve fairness or promote the education which society needs our young people to gain, for the world ahead of this disruption
