Make it law for employers to NOT request school leavers grades
Due to the pandemic and school students not being able study adequately and as rigorously as previous years, the children that have already left and the next year group of students to come under scrutiny the moment their grades are asked for or to put grades on a CV.
Children/young adults have been left to be judged on school work completed throughout the school year and a prediction (presumption) of what a grade "would" be. This is a huge act of work discrimination before a young person has even been considered for work based upon the requirements of school grades that young people have not had full potential to achieve through no fault of their own.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
It is up to individual employers, not the Government or House of Commons, what information they request from potential employers, and how this informs recruitment decisions.
