Safety net for all final year higher education students!
A lot of final year higher education students in the UK are struggling because of the pandemic and feel neglected. Including these, there are also many international students in addition to many disabled students who are in a similar situation.
I, and many of my peers feel we have been cheated and left to fend for ourselves. Specifically those with mental and physical problems; including myself. I am a visually impaired 3rd year university student whose needs get ignored on day to day basis. This prevents me from normal activities that my class mates are able to do. These cause a lot of stress and anxiety amongst class mates which has also negative effects on individuals.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
We understand that you are concerned about the impact of Covid-19 on university students, but we're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do.
We have published the following petitions, which you might like to sign:
Fund additional mental health support services for university students: petition.parliament.uk/petitions/563936
Implement support for university students during Covid-19: petition.parliament.uk/petitions/554299
We understand that the current situation is stressful for many people, including students. Student Minds, a mental health charity for students, is collating guidance and developing resources to support students experiencing stress as a result of the current situation, which you may find useful: www.studentminds.org.uk/coronavirus.html
You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
