Allow fishing in anglers local area during lockdown 3
There is a strong case on how fishing could continue safely during the third national lockdown. The angling trust have explained that fishing benefits physical health and mental wellbeing and that it is regularly the only form of activity individuals undertake.

Non contact with others
Good for mental health and wellbeing
No risks regarding Covid

Under the national lockdown effective from January 6th, angling and fishing are still permitted activities, as long as wider guidance on social distancing and household mixing is adhered to. See Sport England's website for more information:
