The government needs to introduce a reduction of fees and a grant for students.
The government need to offer undergraduates and postgraduates additional funding in the form of grants. Student have been let down since the pandemic started and recently students have been deprived of there education.
Students should also get a discount for this year's fees and last year's due to the teaching being in shambles. The latest NUS survey has shown that nearly 50% of student are facing mental health problems due to the pandemic.The teaching so far for most universities in the UK has 75% been online. Most students agree that they should not pay for university as they do not get to use the campuses and the services/facilities that are available. Some students are watching online recorded workshops. The government needs to step up for students as we are the future workforce.
