Reduce tuition fees for those studying at specialist universities
Reduce and subsidise the following tuition fees for those studying at specialist institutions:
Sandwich fee - £1850
Home fee - £9250
International fee - £22,920
Students at specialist universities can't access fundamental facilities such as wood workshops, 3D printers or kilns. The amount and level of work being produced isn't up to standard as the facilities cannot be accessed and students don't have enough space (e.g. producing in studio flats). Students doing sandwich years are paying £1850 for even more reduced teaching and cannot find internships. Contact hours are reduced, there's limited access to libraries and pre-recording prevents questions.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Decisions about setting and refunding tuition fees are, provided these are within the legal limits for undergraduate students, a matter for individual universities.
