Submit into Law. To prevent any part of a vehicle being parked on pavements.
To discourage the indiscriminate and inconsiderate use of pedestrian access paths for parking vehicles.
Equalise the existing Law in London, across the UK and make it illegal to park any part of a vehicle on a footpath; enforceable with fines.
Inconsiderate parking of vehicles, impinges upon full access for pedestrians, wheelchairs, mobility scooters and pushchairs/prams.
Also introduces obstacles for the visually impaired.
This exposes them to unnecessary risk, by forcing the user having to use the road.
Match London's ruling and ban parking on pavements.
