Tax wealth, savings and assets, NOT income.
It is unfair to tax workers with no wealth, savings or assets the same as income earners that own houses, have wealth and savings.
Workers without a safety net or working towards purchasing their first home should not be taxed the same as those who have homes and savings.
Assets, such as housing, are increasing in price but salaries are stagnating. Workers cannot afford to save for a home of their own due to increased rental costs and increased income tax.
Tax the area of the economy that is doing well and those that are associated with it. Support young workers dream to achieve no more than what their parents had.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
We understand that you want the Government to increase taxes on wealth, but it's not clear who you want to be taxed, or how. We could accept a petition calling for a new tax on savings and assets, and for income tax for low earners to be abolished, if that's what you want to happen.
You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
