Bring in the army to support police in the enforcement of lockdown restrictions
The majority of the British public, who have complied with all restrictions for 9 months are now fed up with those who refuse to comply and are seemingly getting away with it.
The Police do not have enough resources to deal with this, so the armed forces should be now brought in to support them.
Those who refuse to wear face coverings, do not respect distancing, organise and attend protests, arrange (and go to) parties and raves, and other rule breakers should be stopped from doing so and punished for their actions, as what they are doing is spreading the virus and potentially killing other people.
It cannot be allowed to carry on. The Government need to act now. Enough is enough.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Maintaining public order is the responsibility of the police, not the military. The Government has said that the Ministry of Defence is working with a range of partners across Government, including the National Police Chiefs Council and the Home Office, to understand how it can best support the Government’s response to the outbreak. It would be an operational decision for the police whether to request assistance.
