Allow support bubbles to be created for only (single) children households
I would like the government to allow families who have an only child to be allowed to create a support bubble with a child from another household. The government has created support bubbles for single parents/adults living alone but what consideration has been given to only children households?
My daughter is an only child, she has already endured months of no social interaction with another child (during the last lockdown) and here we are again, being expected to go weeks (possibly months) without her seeing another child. Children NEED to play with other children to thrive and learn, you cannot underestimate the impact this is having on only children's mental health. Our children are just as important as adults and should be given the same consideration.
