Use GCSE results for Year 13 A-level predictions as 2021 exams are ruled out.
Last year we saw many students receive less than optimal grading as exams were cancelled. This year we want the government to use each student's past GCSE results when predicting A-Level results as teachers' predictions can be bias and my not reflect the students ability.
Five out of six A-level grade predictions by teachers are wrong, study shows. Teacher predictions have been proven to be overwhelmingly inaccurate, and it would be an injustice to continue awarding grades based on teacher predictions. We propose that previously taken GCSE results are used to predict the A-Level results as they were the last formal exams taken and would lead to more accurate grading.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
We're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do. In particular, we're not sure how you'd like GCSE grades to be used to predict A-Level grades.
You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
