Petition Action

Key workers children and vulnerable children should not learn further in school

Petition Details

Vulnerable children and key workers children should not learn further in any subject.

Additional Information

Phone lessons and zoom lessons don't work. If half a class is in school learning and half the are on phone/zoom then when we get out of lockdown half the class are going to be behind. Why should children who find it hard to learn over the phone, go to school after 3 months and be behind some of the class?

This petition was rejected

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.

We're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do. In particular, we're not sure if you want the Government to close schools to all students, or if you want the Government to set specific requirements for the teaching of vulnerable children and those of critical workers who are allowed to attend school.

You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
