Chris Whitty to receive a knighthood for dedication during the COVID pandemic
To award Chris Whitty a knighthood in the next honours list. He has worked tirelessly and during the Christmas period carried out duties Ona COVID ward at his hospital, despite having worked tirelessly since the pandemic began
Dr Chris Whitty has become the face of the medical profession since the COVID pandemic began. He has been there throughout and appears to be the one person relied upon to give accurate and unbiased information. In addition to this, instead of spending time with his family at Christmas, he has worked as a doctor in the intensive care wards at his local hospital
