Bring in the recently retired to help out with the vaccine rollout for COVID.

Petition Details

The government have said they need a big & successful rollout of the vaccine in order for our lives to become normal again.

So by bringing in those who have recently retired to help out with the rollout would help accomplish the following:

Additional Information

1. Relieves the existing pressures off the fantastic health & social care workers as they can focus on treating patients with COVID & other illnesses.

2. We know that those who are retired are at a higher risk of loneliness/depression - having their help encourages with social interaction with all groups of ages & feeling like they are still needed in society.

3. From an economic perspective, this would be cheaper cost on the taxpayer (In exchange for tax relief on their pensions who assist).
