Early Years Settings to receive government funding during lockdown.
I am writing this petition to ask for Early Years Settings to receive government funding during lockdown.
Early years settings have been advised that the government will not provide funding to them during this lockdown for any children that are unable to attend.
EY settings may have to close on a perm basis as they will simply not be able to financially stay open. (Many settings are charities and non profit based).
In the first lockdown they were provided with this funding.
Yes they are allowed to open this lockdown but many parents are scared to send their children. Parents are put in a position where they could be asked to compromise the safety of their children or risk loosing their EY setting.
Please can the decision about funding be reviewed?
