Universities should refund students for the academic year 2020 and 2021
Covid 19 disrupted university students from March 2020, when they were told to go home and continue their studies online.
Despite being in the government’s thoughts of students being engaged with online, this was not the case.
Universities did not provide adequate teaching for £9000.
Students were robbed of their money. With many assignments being cancelled and tutors presenting old prerecorded lectures.
This has prevented learning and development, with many students feeling unprepared to go into work.
For many it was as if they had the year off studying, but they will still be in £9000 dept lacking skills they deserved to learn.
It has put many students in worse off position than their peers who graduated pre pandemic. Not to mention the mental health issues faced.
