Benefits for agile working employees to help with increasing utility expenses
support people working from home cover increasing utility bills in the form of credit of voucher that can be spent with utility providers and taken from pay as a salary sacrifice.
The current allowances are not working through the tax office and many people will not notice the threshold allowances. Costs of working from home are increasing and compulsory especially in the current climate, leaving families without heating or the worry of financial hardship.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
The decision to implement a credit voucher scheme for utility companies using salary sacrifice would be a matter for individual employers and utility companies. You could start a new petition asking the Government to set up a special scheme for those working from home, such as the winter fuel allowance, if that's something that you'd like to see.
