Allow Removal of uninvolved parents from birth certificates if absent
Approve that by law, a parent has the ability to remove the name of the other parent from the birth certificate, if they have been absent/uninvolved (physically/emotionally/financially) in the child's life, for a minimum of 1 year; with or without an explanation of absence
(exemptions may include; current army recruit, working overseas)...
Why is it ok for either parent to disappear away from a child? then to return to the child's life through a court system or mediation process.
An absent parent can cause the child emotional distress and confusion.
If no contact has been issued and the opposing parent can provide proof of no support (financially/emotionally/physically), they should have the option to remove the parent in question
