To ask EU to give UK tourists the same limits as EU to UK. 180 days.
Simply ask the EU to allow UK citizens to travel to EU countries for 180 days in any year. Thus creating what the EU keep asking for a level playing field.
There are a significant number of older UK citizens who travel to Spain for several months during the winter, many for health reasons. The Canary islands and Spain have repeatedly published in papers that they welcome these tourists. We do not understand why any government would not welcome tourists with the appropriate finances and travel insurance. We believe this to be a simple error mixed up with the undoubtedly complex issues surrounding Brexit.
