Force CIE to cancel IGCSE and A-level 2021 exams

Petition Details

It is unfair on CIE students to do exams during this unprecedented time. Having missed 6 months of school (lets be honest, online just isn't the same), and battling a pandemic with 1 in 30 Londoners catching covid, infection rates across the country rapidly rising, the mental well-being of students

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

Decisions about courses and assessments that are delivered by independent educational institutions, as opposed to state schools, are a matter for individual exam boards and educational institutions, not the Government or House of Commons.

We could accept a petition calling for the Government to prohibit any exams from taking place during the Covid-19 outbreak, if that is something you want to happen.

We understand that the current situation is stressful for many people, including students.
