We need bees! Stop the use of Neonicotinoids on crops!
This was previously debated, and Neonicotinoids were banned (In 2015) as there is significant scientific evidence of the harmful and irreversible effect on bees. We need bees and insects for food crops as pollination is imperative to the continued production of farming.
In 2017, then-environment secretary Michael Gove welcomed the EU ban on the pesticides, and promised that “unless the scientific evidence changes, the government will maintain these increased restrictions post-Brexit”. How are we going backwards?
