Petition Details

Prioritise HGV and delivery drivers as key workers for the vaccine. Drivers are driving all over the country between different tiers and are a crucial workforce to the ensure essential goods are available to the nation.

Additional Information

By not prioritising delivery and HGV drivers this is putting more risk to drivers who have very basic PPE. Drivers are already putting themselves at risk driving between different counties when the UK was in tiers.

By delaying drivers being vaccinated this puts more pressure on the driver workforce and ultimately puts more risk to essential goods including food and medication reaching the nation including the elderly and the vulnerable.
