Petition Action

Continue the ban on insect-damaging neonicotinoid thiamethoxam on all crops.

Petition Details

We ask that the recent decision to allow the use of the insect-damaging neonicotinoid thiamethoxam on sugarbeet is reversed. It isn't allowed in the European Union and should not be used here either. We were promised there would be no lowering of environmental standards as part of Brexit changes.

Additional Information

Bees & other insects are proven to be hurt by neonicotinoids. They are also threatened by climate change & pollution.
Insects are vital for a healthy environment, including for growing food.
