Stamp Duty Tax exemption for those already in the process of buying a property
Those already in the process of buying property should be exempt from reinstated stamp duty tax on the 1st April.
Those in the process of buying a house will be expected to pay the stamp duty if their property purchase doesnt complete by 31st March. They will then lose the SDT holiday and will be expected to pay the fee if delays run into April. Those in the process should be exempt and the SDT holiday applied to their purchase. Reinstated tax should apply to new purchses after 1st April
