Stop professional sport during the current Covid-19 lock-down
Stop all professional sport during the current Coronavirus restrictions.
We are being repeatedly and correctly being told to stay home and restrict all social contact. Yet professional sport continues and we see in the news images of soccer players hugging both on the field and in dressing rooms.
This is sending very mixed messages to the general public.
On one hand we are told we cannot even take a walk in a park with other family members, yet footballers can continue social contact with each other as they always have. Not only that, this is shown repeatedly on TV.
Banning professional sport will also re-emphasise the seriousness of the current situation
