Bring back the £30 free school meal vouchers.
End the contract with Chartwells and bring back the £30 free school meal vouchers.
I don't think that the free school meals hamper provided by Chartwells is efficient for children for the 2 weeks it is ment to last for. For most people these are challenging times for people, there are alot of struggling families that find it hard at the best of times and I believe that the £30 voucher to help with meals while the schools are closed are a big help. A hamper from Chartwells cost around £5 this is no where near the £30 mark that parents where once recieving.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
The national voucher scheme to provide meals to children eligible for free school meals during lockdown reopened on Monday 18th January. Schools are able to claim back support provided through lunch parcels or locally arranged vouchers since 4th January from the Department for Education.
