the government to realise that the younger generation deserves more recognition
get the government to realise that the people of the uk between the ages of 16-25 deserve more support and that many government decisions would be completely different if they included more of the younger generation in votes and decisions that drastically impact their futures more than anyone else
I want the government to do this because if the voting age had been reduced for Brexit then I have a high belief that Brexit would have never happened as the majority of those who voted to leave where elderly who will not see the impact this has much whereas those in the age range of 16-25 will and it impacts their future more so why should we as a younger generation not get more choices in helping to decide the fate of our country

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
We understand that you want the Government to do more to recongise younger generations, but we're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do.
You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
