Close the UK Borders to ALL Travel in and out of the country immediately.
I am asking the UK Government to act now to protect the UK and the NHS from the worsening of the Covid 19 pandemic. We are in a national lockdown and being told to stay at home but people can travel freely in and out of the country . We now have 3 identified variants of Covid 19 from outside the UK.
We know the newer variants are more contagious and this is a risk. This is very late action and should have been done months ago in my opinion. But if we can take this step now to limit the loss of life and the impact on the NHS it would be a positive step to allow the vaccination programme to roll out and help us recover.
