Equal representation for women in parliament
Fifty per cent of the UK population are women and yet women do not have equal representation in parliament. This petition calls on parliament to debate the issue of the equal representation of women in parliament and methods of ensuring that 50% of MPs are female, as one method of moving the cause of female equality forward in the UK.
