Fare treatment of all Students at University should have grade safety net
The Government to mandate that all Students are given a grade safety net, for Students who have a practical element to the course or work in the community, or with other groups. These Students due to. Covid students cannot sign out equipment, are working on Zoom from home or University rooms alone.
My daughter is doing a film degree she has been told there is no grade safety net, she cannot use equipment to pass the degree, and cannot work in a team on filming projects, also cannot work with Actors and Actresses for film production. I have just read in the News about another Student.
After talking to my daughter she tells me her friends from School at other Universities are having the same issue.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Decisions about university teaching, assessments and exams are a matter for individual universities, not the UK Government or Parliament.
If you have concerns about your university's arrangements for teaching and assessment you should raise these with your university or the Office for Students, which regulates the higher education sector.
We understand that the current situation is stressful for many people, including students. Student Minds, a mental health charity for students, is collating guidance and developing resources to support students experiencing stress as a result of the current situation, which you may find useful: www.studentminds.org.uk/coronavirus.html
