Rule out any 'mini exams' for GCSEs and A-levels in 2021
What we need is not more exams, but recognition that teachers are best placed to assess and grade students, and that students have faced varying levels of disruption which should be accounted for. We can't afford a repeat of last year's results scandal.
Students' mental health matters. We deserve a fair grading system that acknowledges the unequal impact of COVID-19 on our learning. We need a process to ensure that students from ethnic minority backgrounds and working class families are not left behind.
