Remove peerage of Lords imprisoned over 12 months.
Create primary legislation so that Lords who are in prison longer than 12 months automatically lose their peerage. Ban any person who has served a prison term longer than 12 months from getting a peerage.
If MPs are in prison for longer than 12 months they lose their seats. However Lords can serve an unlimited number of years in prison and as long as they are still alive they're free to resume their position again afterwards and this is outrageous.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
The House of Lords Reform Act 2014 already provides that any member of the House of Lords convicted of a crime and sentenced to 12 months or more in prison is expelled from the House.
You could start a new petition calling for any person who has previously served a prison term longer than 12 months to be made ineligible to subsequently be appointed to the House of Lords.
