Treat veterinary staff as critical workers
We want veterinary staff to be treated as critical workers.
We work strenuous hours and come into contact with hundreds of humans and animals every week!
We have worked as hard as everyone else during the pandemic and have received no recognition as “critical workers”.
We would like the same testing, childcare benefits and sick pay benefits as other key workers.
We have been completely dismissed throughout the pandemic as non-essential workers when we save lives daily!
