Support low income countries in gaining COVID-19 vaccines
Secure funding to allow the lowest income countries of the world to vaccinate their health care workers and vulnerable populations. This will tackle the current global health inequalities seen as a result of the coronavirus pandemic
36 million vaccines have been administered to over 46 of the world’s higher income countries. Yet just 25 vaccines have been administered in only one of the lowest income countries.
Every human on earth has a right to a coronavirus vaccine for both personal and global health reasons.
The health inequalities mentioned above will result in an enormous socioeconomic detriment to the poorest countries and those that are among the wealthiest have a moral and ethical duty to support them.
