end child mutilation
Mutilation of children, particularly genital mutilation, frequently for religious or cultural reasons, is disturbingly common in the UK. Some types are already illegal, but the law is not enforced.
We call upon the cabinet to make it a government priority to criminalise ALL forms of child mutilation, and to ensure that all resulting and current laws relating to the issue are rigorously applied and enforced.
Child mutilation has no place in a civilised society.
