Combat screen violence with education.
Instead of just unsuccessfully clamping down on what children watch on TV the Government should institute within the School's National Curriculum education on how to review and critique actor's performances so that children detach from what they percieve and are not negatively impacted by it.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
We understand that you are concerned about onscreen violence, but we're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do.
You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do. For example, this could request specific changes to the national curriculum, but it would need to be clear what new content you want to be added to the curriculum.
