Petition Action

Get the Exempt Children to go home as part of the UK lockdown

Petition Details

Send the exempt children home as part of the UK lockdown to ease the stress off of schools, send the kids that do not have a place to work so they are not missing out on the important subjects!

Additional Information

During Lockdown many children have been sent home due to their safety, however, Exempt kids are more likely to have a greater effect if they get the virus making school a more dangerous place to go. Some school cannot keep those kids apart from each other and the schools are being stressed trying to make the school a more safe place, why not instead of sending the Exempt kids in, send the kids that do not have a place to work so they are not missing out on the important subjects!

This petition was rejected

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action. We're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do.

The Government has confirmed that all children and students will return to face-to-face education in schools and colleges from 8 March.

You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
